BIO:
I am from South Carolina and just graduated from Scripps College in December with a degree in Molecular Biology. I have just accepted a position as a research assistant in a neuroscience lab at Mount Sinai, which will be my first job out of college. And I am very excited! For fun I love to run (I spent a summer living in New York and am eager to be able to run in Central Park again), go to museums, read, cook, go dancing, listen to music and hang out with friends. A lot of my good friends from college live in New York so I’m really happy to be relatively close to everyone. I have no pets although I especially love cats so would be enthusiastic about any roommates having a pet in the future.
I do love to bake, recently it has been vegan miso chocolate chip cookies which have been very popular. I am very easy going, and a clean and quiet housemate. I have good book recommendations and love to give massages for anyone after a long day. Generally I think my presence helps people to unwind.
I do like roommates who are clean, especially when it comes to dishes or within the bathroom. I prefer roommates who are considerate of shared spaces, but otherwise am very open to living with most anyone. I will be spending a good amount of time studying when I come home in the evening, so I would like to live with others who are fairly quiet during the work week. And I enjoy hosting dinner parties once in a while.
