BIO:
Hi there! My name is Charly, and I’m a Vocal Performance major at NYU Steinhardt. I study classical voice, vocal pedagogy, and vocal pathology. I moved here from the great state of Alaska (and boy, do I have stories) about a year and a half ago, and I’m looking for a clean, welcoming and friendly home environment to settle into as I explore more of what this city has to offer.
I’m not home super often, but when I am I’m knitting, writing music, baking or cooking, or online shopping. If you’ve ever wanted to try moose or wild Alaskan salmon, I’ve often got food straight from the last frontier in the fridge!
I’d prefer female roommates only. I maintain a fairly calm and cozy lifestyle, and am hoping to meet people who are similar; organized within reason, communicative, not too rowdy, but easygoing and down for fun. My last living situation was very neat and tidy, but if anything was ever out of place, there was always a dispute or altercation following. I’m a quiet and clean person and I love for my space to feel the same, but I’ll never raise my voice about it if it’s not and would prefer adult roommates who can communicate and compromise when there’s something that needs to be taken care of in the apartment. Aggressive communication would be a dealbreaker for me. We all want this space to feel like home.
