BIO:

So, the most important thing for a potential roommate to know about me is that I’m Type A when it comes to shared living spaces. Additionally, I’m very big on being respectful of other’s privacy and personal preferences. I’ve NEVER had anyone complain about me as a roommate.

I’m from Baltimore, but I haven’t lived there since I was 17. I went to school in Pittsburgh, where I lived for 4+ years after graduating. Then, I moved to Northern VA for a year before coming here to NY. I’ve been here, living in the Upper East, for about a year now.

I love being productive. If I’m not being productive, then I’m probably bored. Sometimes I have to remind myself to relax and give my brain a rest. I also enjoy playing basketball, playing video games, watching football, and hanging out with close friends. I might be slightly OCD when it comes to cleanliness, but I’m really laid back and easy to get along with.

I work at a really cool tech company called Teachers Pay Teachers. We run an online marketplace where teachers can buy and sell teacher-created resources. I love the mission and our amazing work culture. Our headquarters are in Union Square; being close to the NRQW or 4,5,6 trains is important to me.

Roommate Perk

#My roommateperk is that I’d like to think that I’m funny and people enjoy being around me.

Ideal roommate

My ideal roommate is also neat and clean when it comes to shared spaces. My best experience living with another person was when I shared a house with a guy who I’d consider a neat freak. It’d be cool to live with people who are easy to get along with. I’m definitely down to hang out every now and then, but I’m typically in my room when I’m home.

The biggest dealbreaker is someone being dirty or untidy. Also, I identify as Christian. So, another dealbreaker would be someone having an issue with that. The final dealbreaker would be noise at disrespectful hours. Having people over sometimes is of course okay. I couldn’t live with someone who was partying and playing loud music after 10 pm on weekdays, though.
