I was originally born in Woodhaven, Queens, and then my family moved out to Long Island. I attended the Macaulay Honors College at Queens College, where I majored in Neuroscience and Biology, and minored in Psychology, Chemistry, and Honors in Mathematics and Natural Sciences. My current job is doing cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and I am also looking into graduate school programs in NYC. I’m a pretty clean person, and have a minimalist idea for what I want to do with my bedroom.
#Myroommateperk would be that I make amazing pierogi (recipe taught to me by my parents, who both were born and raised in Poland). I’d also be out of the apartment a lot, since I play volleyball during the week and weekends, so you’d have a lot of space to yourself.
My ideal roommate would be someone who doesn’t necessarily want to be best friends, but would be someone I do become friends with. I’d love to have a roommate night maybe once a month just to chat and hang out and have dinner together. I’d prefer roommates who are able to keep the common spaces fairly clean. I’d also really like roommates who, if there ever were any issues, would be willing to communicate about problems they’re having rather than being angry about it and letting it build up over time (and I would have the courtesy to do the same). Something I don’t think I could handle living with is someone is a smoker.
