BIO:
I’m originally from Jersey City; I’ve lived near or in NYC my whole life. I’ve spent almost 10 years as a childcare professional. I currently work at a private school in the Financial District for children with different learning needs. In my free time I enjoy playing video games and board games, watching video essays and gaming content on YouTube, podcasts, listening to and studying music, skateboarding, fitness, exploring my neighborhood, and getting to know neighbors. I have no pets.
I’ll be moving in with a leather couch and recliner for the living room, and some kitchen appliances including a Vitamix blender and KitchenAid stand mixer, and several board games.
My ideal roommate is communicative and collaborative about how we treat the apartment, including keeping the apartment/kitchen/bathroom clean so that we can create a relaxing space in which we can recharge. I don’t invite friends over every week but I would like to be comfortable entertaining some guests from time to time; I certainly don’t mind if someone wants to entertain friends, or have the occasional gathering in the apartment. Ideally, I hope for a friendly enough relationship with my roommate to get to know them as we occupy the same space. No deal breakers, but I hope everyone can be responsible with keeping the apartment in good shape.
